    Overall Score: Level 3 (8/20)

    - Unfortunately late work means marks are deducted. Some better planning is needed to make sure blog posts are uploaded on time and CHECKED so they can be marked on time. A week late is just not acceptable. Even if it was done, not being uploaded or visible on your blog means it misses out on being marked.

    - You will need to spend more time on presentation of your blog. Layout and presentation is an important part of your mark. Your content was there in basic form but you haven't left enough time to get familiar enough with any blogging tools to make your posts more interesting. By CCR for PT #1, you should have a much more interesting layout and show some progression from first posts.

    - Font - again planning is needed so you have time to fix fonts that aren't able to be read. Please Google/Youtube/get help BEFORE due date so that myself and Cambridge are able to see what you've written. If you don't know how to do it, do some research or come and ask me a few days before it's due and we will figure it out together.

    - Layout - You need to keep consistency with your work. If you start your blog by writing out the Question, you need to do that for each question please.

    - Conventions - remember that a gun and darkness are not conventions, they are examples of conventions. A convention in a thriller would be ICONOGRAPHY and a gun would be an example of iconography. An example of another convention would be lighting. An example of the lighting convention you chose to use was darkness and shadows. You need to talk about the broader convention and how it's used and how you chose to use your example. Not wrong, just needs more fleshing out and again, going deeper to show your understanding.

    - Representation - where is all your knowledge of representation? This should have been a long paragraph all about how women and men are represented in the media, how that relates to reality and how that affected how you chose to represent both genders. This is missing completely.

    Question 2:

    - How is your product/ your film engaging? Talking about the characters you chose and that they are relatable is great but only one sentence. This should be a long paragraph with more than one point. Isn't it engaging because you've used Thriller conventions to make suspense that draws the audience in? Haven't you made a mystery that the audience wants to see what happens? Their is so much you could say here.

    Question 3
    - Learning to use equipment - I know what equipment you used, Camrbidge doesn't! What did you use? What camera? What editing equipment? What sound gear? Where is the learning reflected in messing up the sound in the 1st film shoot? Where is your reflection on not being able to use lights effectively and ending up with a film that's too dark and having to change this in post-production?? So much you could say here.

Editing - you could talk about your journey to learning how to colour grade, how to make a dazed/flash effect, how to add a heratbeat from Youtube clip. A lot to say here too that you missed the opportunity for.

Question 4 - needs more than just a sentence for each.

Overall comments: This is a great DRAFT, not enough for a finished CCR. Looking at the examples of other years should have gotten you a good idea of how much to write. Definitely time management needs to be a big area of focus for each week's homework. This needs to be fleshed out, added to, reformatted (using Blog tools) and uploaded for a re-submit please. Makings of a good CCR are there, just needs some attention.
